Welcome to Westwind Design Co. and thanks for stopping by! My name is Kristen Isley, the founder of Houston's choice in Boutique Home Staging companies.

For the past 11 years I have built a successful photography company while raising my two daughters with my husband. His career brought us to the Houston area in 2022 and my family has quickly fallen in love with the sun, the culture, the abundance of live music, and being so close to the gulf coast.

I developed a love for the arts and design at a very young age. I took every art class available in my small town, obtained a degree in Art Therapy, built a thriving photography business with many great clients, and bought, re-designed, staged and sold 4 houses in the last 9 years.

Throughout my home buying process in Houston, the staged homes my husband and I viewed seemed to be missing the natural elements and welcoming feel I strive to fill my homes with. Shortly after settling in, I was approached to stage a home in the Heights prior to their listing. Having the opportunity to instill my design in such a charming neighbourhood was beyond exciting for me. After receiving multiple offers, that home sold in a few short days for well over asking price. I knew that this was a field that I was ready to jump into and have been building an inventory and taking on design jobs ever since.
